Looking after dog.
I'm not even in to dogs, but still I have ended up looking after dogs a couple of times through my internship year. It's honestly mainly because I like the owners. Anyway, some positive things about dogs:
- You have to get out during the day
- You have to care selflessly about something
- You do give them attention and love, even though you don't really like them (imagine the potential of love for someone you actually like)
It's half term this week, which means I've had way more time than usual. Looking after the dog includes living in the neighbouring village, which is aproximately thirty minutes walk away from my home - no train station, no shops. So thing I've been doing:
- Talking to people on the phone
- Catching up with some sleep
- Dog walks (obviously)
- Watched films
- Played the keyboard
- Listened to music
- Done some planning for work
- Had time to pray and think
