Detached.

Ever since the school term started me and my line manager have been walking the streets of Grange-Over-Sands once a week. Our aim have been to talk to young people and give them hot chocolate - to spread hope, love, and create relationships. Detached.

One time we didn't meet any youth at all, but the times we've met someone they've been so keen on chatting with us. When we gave them hot chocolate the joy was easy to spot in their eyes. These are kids with hard lives, and we meet them while they are smoking all sorts of things. It feels so meaningful to do this. 

If we don't meet anybody we pray for the village, for the work we do, for salvation, and for light in the darkness. Thanks to God for leading us to do this for His glory.
